We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with expertise in ground-up commercial construction and renovations. The ideal candidate has experience managing projects ranging from $10 million to $50 million or more and excels at coordinating with diverse project stakeholders, including onsite teams, owners, and back-office operations. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project leadership to establish contracts, purchase orders, testing/inspection requirements, submittals, samples, and project schedules.
- Work with estimating teams on project budgeting, scope definition, and identifying potential challenges.
- Procure necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review and finalize subcontracts and execute contracts as needed.
- Coordinate and track critical path submittals.
- Confirm project schedules with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct thorough reviews with field superintendents on project progress and issues.
- Schedule and lead site meetings, progress meetings, and internal project hand-offs.
- Process and execute change orders efficiently.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules, updating them regularly.
- Ensure all testing and inspections meet project specifications.
- Prepare project meeting agendas and documentation.
- Assist with processing billings for contractors and vendors.
- Coordinate final punch lists and project close-out procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field strongly preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in commercial building construction.
- Proficiency with construction management technology tools such as Sage, ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, and Smart Bid.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
