Our client is looking to bring in a Manager of Manufacturing Operations to provide oversight of 10+ technical professionals involved with the engineering, machining, and support of new product development.
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor degree with 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting requiring detailed shop drawings and adherence to strict quality system policies
- Well versed in machining and finishing operations involving tight tolerances
- Guide manufacturing engineering function in support of developing new or sustaining processes
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production activities to maximize the utilization of equipment, and resources to meet production goals
- Lead all Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) efforts
- Develop recruiting, production training, and equipment standards as well as handle performance expectations, and recommendations for performance increases
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Undergraduate in Engineering or prior supervisory experience managing engineering and direct experience in a regulated manufacturing setting such as Aerospace, FDA, automotive, or mining
- Prior experience leading a 3 shift manufacturing operations
- Hands on experience using CAM and CAD software
- History of implementing process improvements that involved production line equipment capacity standards, quality routing instructions, and production labor objectives
- Direct experience operating CNC machines and/or programming
