Feeding Northeast Florida Volunteer Event
On Tuesday, November 10, members from the Interactive Resources Jacksonville office attended a Feeding Northeast Florida food sorting volunteer event.
The smiles, through our masks, were ongoing throughout the entire event. Thank you to all of the staff members at Feeding NEFL for guiding us through the process and for serving the Jacksonville community day after day.

Feeding NEFL and Their Impact
Feeding Northeast Florida helps local children, families, seniors, and active and retired military members who struggle to put food on the table. Working with local grocery stores, manufacturers, and farms, Feeding NEFL rescues high-quality food that would normally be wasted and transform it into meals for those in need.
By connecting millions of pounds of rescued food to a network of over 250 social service agencies and programs like City Rescue Mission, The Sulzbacher Center, and The Salvation Army, these hunger-relief partners are able to provide not only food to those in need, but services that can help these families and individuals end the cycle of poverty – including job training or placement, low-cost childcare, SNAP benefits, medical care, affordable housing, and counseling.
In 2019, Feeding Northeast Florida provided more than 14.4 million meals in eight counties throughout Northeast Florida.
